Well i got this complicated one.
We started out as friends and so far with our ins and outs it’s been great. Heck I even moved into the same building as her (it was her idea)

I am scared to go further though although I would like to, because of what her response might be.

If you are traditional, you shouldn't be dating this guy. I know this sounds ugly, but when I read your story my first thought was he's a loser, get rid of him.
But that could be just because I lean towards 'traditional' dating myself.
BUT, it sounds like you are taking on the majority of the weight in this relationship. If it was me, I would stop seeing him. It just doesn't sound like you're going to be happy with this guy in the future. I'm seeing red flags. But you would know better than I.

How is he down to earth and sweet if he doesn't even know how to take a girl out?? And his DAD pays for everything, and he know nothing about tips or money? And no REAL gentleman would have a problem with paying his own way! Geez girl. What are you doing.
